Description

The Riello TA 3 C 4010 7 burner pump, art: 3006158, is equipment for heavy-duty operation and large volumes of fuel pumping. It features high performance, versatility, resistance to high temperatures, and a reinforced design. The performance reaches 780 l/h at a pressure of 30 bar and a viscosity of 75 cSt, which allows the pump to be used as part of large heating systems at factories, warehouses, and production facilities.

Design and installation

The Riello TA pump has a special design for heavy industrial conditions. The design can withstand high temperatures, pressure and intensive use. The main working element is a pair of toothed gears that move fuel from the tank to the nozzle.

The housing has a place for mounting the heater. The preheating device is switched on in advance to reduce the viscosity of the fuel. Cold start of the pump is prohibited when working with fuel oil and other viscous fuels due to the risk of damage to the clutch. The installation location of the heating element is selected taking into account the prevention of contact with the fuel and maximum heat transfer.

The burner pump in the factory assembly is ready for a 2-pipe connection. With a one-pipe wiring scheme, remove the bypass plug and completely close the return drain. In this case, the fuel will flow back to the gears, and not into the tank.

Retrofitting

The standard package does not include a coarse filter. To protect the nozzle from early wear and clogging, it is recommended to install a 200 µm filter after the pump. To work with fuel oil, a degasser flask is required to minimize the negative impact of light fractions of heated fuel on the working components and increase the service life of the equipment.
