Description

The Suntec A2 RA 7710 liquid fuel pump is a reliable universal device of basic design for installation in low-power heating systems. Provides fuel supply under pressure of 1-10 bar. A special feature of the A2 RA series is the presence of a control valve with a locking function.

Design and features

A gear mechanism is responsible for moving fuel from the tank to the regulator, and then to the nozzle. To protect the gear pair from abrasive particles, a pre-filter with an increased working area of ​​20 cm² is mounted at the inlet to the system. All foreign impurities in the form of sand, debris, rust with a size of 150 microns are retained by a mesh insert, which should be regularly cleaned of contaminants.

The feed pressure can be adjusted independently within the permissible norm using the screw on the body. The valve maintains the pressure at a given level and locks the flow.

The pump is installed in the system using a flange with a diameter of 54 mm. The European standard EN 225, according to which the design is made, is supported by many burner manufacturers.

The device can be used not only with diesel fuel, but also with biodiesel, thanks to a special shaft seal made of Viton. This product is incompatible with fuel mixtures containing more than 5% biodiesel.

You can check the correctness of the system settings by connecting a pressure gauge and a vacuum gauge, for which ports with a tapered thread of ⅛ inch NPTF diameter are provided.
