Description

The Suntec AJ 4 CC 1000 4P fuel pump is a basic device for medium-power boiler plants, no more than 3000 kW. It pumps diesel fuel at a rate of 158 l/hour under a pressure of 20 bar. The built-in valve regulates the pressure on the nozzle within 10-20 atm. and performs a shut-off function.

Features and parameters of the device

Modifications with the number "4" are distinguished by the use of ring seals at the connections with the suction/return line, as well as a decrease in internal pressure losses.

This model has a left-hand outlet to the nozzle. By default, the unit is designed for use in two-pipe systems - a bypass plug is mounted in the drain hole. It must be unscrewed and the channel closed if the pump is used in single-pipe installations.

The main working element - a gear pair is designed for trouble-free, long-term service. To protect the gears, a detachable mesh filter is installed at the fuel inlet. It catches any abrasive impurities larger than 120x150 microns. Regularly clean the filter from dirt and change the cover gasket.

The pressure on the injector can be changed using the regulator. The permissible range is 10-20 atmospheres. Use a pressure gauge to avoid damage to the structural elements. Standard ports according to ISO 228/1 are provided for connecting measuring devices.

Operating principle

The gear mechanism, rotating counterclockwise, sucks fuel from the tank, directs it through the mesh filter to the pressure regulating valve, and then to the injector. The excess is returned to the tank or sent to the suction line - depending on the connection scheme (two or one pipe).
