Description
The high-pressure fuel pump AN 57 C 7282 4P has a gear design and a pressure regulating valve with a shut-off function. The device is developed and manufactured by the French concern Suntec. It is intended for installation in forced-draft burners operating on liquid fuel. With its help, fuel is supplied to the nozzle line under a pressure of 7-14 bar. The standard version of this unit is suitable for installation in 2-pipe systems. When installing in 1-pipe circuits, the bypass plug should be removed and the return line should be blocked with a steel plug and washer.
Technical features
The flow rate of the working fluid directly depends on the rotation speed of the drive shaft of the electric motor, which can reach 3600 rpm.
At the factory, the fuel pump of the diesel burner is adjusted to an average pressure of 9 atm. This value can be changed up or down manually.
The unit is capable of pumping liquids of various temperatures and viscosities: from 0 to +60°C and 2-75 mm²/s, respectively.
It is recommended to additionally install a fine filter on the pressure section, this will increase the service life of the fuel injectors.
Main advantages:
The pump capacity is 55 l/h at a diesel fuel pressure of 11 bar, which is the optimal value when operating low- and medium-power burners;
the design of the unit provides for the presence of standard G⅛" ports that meet the European standard ISO 228/1, to which the pressure gauge and vacuum gauge are connected;
the fuel pump to the heating burner is equipped with a mesh filter with 150 micron cells, which performs preliminary cleaning of the fuel;
the model weighs only 1 kg and has small dimensions, which facilitates transportation and installation.
