Description
The compact gear pump AP 57 B 1576 6P 0700 from the French manufacturer Suntec will be useful for owners of liquid fuel burners that run on diesel fuel. The model in question with an electromagnetic valve without a locking function differs from its analogues by the presence of two operating modes - low and high pressure - as well as increased productivity.
Device operation
Fuel from the fuel tank is sucked in by the pump due to the clockwise movement of gears in it. On its way there is a mesh serviceable filter of a cylindrical shape with a cell cross-section of 150 µm, which retains small debris and sand. The mechanism pumps diesel fuel into the high-pressure zone, where it is pumped according to one of two schemes:
High-pressure mode provides for the supply of power to the electromagnetic valve, which closes the bypass opening leading to the return line. Fuel is pumped to the injector line under the pressure set by tightening the adjusting screw — within 10-28 atm.
In the low pressure mode, the valve is de-energized and open, which directs the fuel through the channel in the injector line coupling. The pressure value is set by the adjusting screw in the range of 3-15 atm.
The diesel burner pump can be connected to a single-pipe (diesel fuel returns to the suction) and two-pipe system (it is drained into the tank through the removed plug).
Advantages of the model:
can work in a two-pipe and one-pipe system;
2 pressure levels;
there are ports for a pressure gauge and a vacuum gauge;
operational viscosity of the pumped medium is 2-12 mm²/s (cSt);
high productivity of the first stage — 56 l/h.
Purpose
The fuel pump for a diesel burner is installed on models of such manufacturers as Baltur, Elco and Lamborghini with a capacity of 10 to 1000 kW. After installation and initial setup, the device operates automatically. The company "ANKAS" offers to buy components for heating equipment in 1 click.
