Description

Gear fuel pump Suntec AS 57 C 1544 6P 0700 is a representative of the medium power range of the AS line. These devices are distinguished by a built-in electromagnetic valve of the "normally open" type with a locking function and a slide valve for adjusting the liquid pressure on the nozzle line.

High performance and maximum fuel supply pressure allow the unit to be used for completing domestic and commercial heating burners with a capacity of up to 1000 kW. Modification "C" has a left-hand location of the outlet to the nozzle line and counterclockwise rotation of the shaft.

Design features

  • This type of pump uses a gear mechanism consisting of a pair of meshed links - a central gear and an external gear wheel. Rotating counterclockwise, it creates a low-pressure zone in the suction pipe. Cleaned diesel fuel, having passed through the mesh cylindrical filter, is attracted to the teeth and pushed out under pressure to the fuel injectors.

  • A small spool valve with an adjusting screw, the cap of which is located outside the housing, is responsible for setting the required pressure in the discharge section.

  • The factory configuration allows using the pump in 2-pipe fuel systems. For installation in 1-pipe systems, remove the bypass plug and close the "return" with a steel plug and washer.
