Design features

  • The work of moving diesel fuel and pumping it to the nozzles is performed by a gear mechanism. A gear is pressed onto the shaft of the unit, rotated by an external electric drive, which sets the toothed wheel in motion. The inlet and outlet channels are separated by a half-moon-shaped recess.

  • The counter-clockwise rotating gear pair develops high speeds (up to 3600 rpm), at which the fuel pressure can reach 15 bar.

  • The spool valve sets the maximum pressure value on the injector line. It is adjusted by tightening the adjusting screw with the device running. The EM valve of the "normally open" type serves to accelerate the locking of the spool valve and transfer the device to idle mode.
