Description

When completing heating burners with supercharging, low-power and economical gear pumps are in demand, used for pumping diesel fuel with a kinematic viscosity from 2 to 12 cSt. Model AT3 45 D 9546 4P 0700 was developed by the French concern Suntec specifically for these purposes. It can alternately operate in one of two modes of fuel supply to the injector line. Design features

The operation of the compact device is based on the mutual counterclockwise rotation of two gears. Power is taken from the drive shaft of the burner electric motor. Fuel from the tank moves to the gear teeth due to the vacuum created in the suction line, where the pressure becomes negative and is measured by a vacuum gauge.

Low and high pressure spool valves set the fuel supply parameters by means of a piston with a spring that is pressed from the seat and tightened by an adjusting screw. Electromagnetic solenoids automate and speed up the process of switching modes without stopping the shaft rotation.
