Description

The fuel pump for the AT3 V 45 A 9660 4P 0700 burner operates in two pressure modes with adjustable parameters, equipped with 2 electromagnetic valves with a locking function. The design provides a special port on the cover for taking pressure readings in the nozzle only in high pressure mode.

Features, purpose

  • This model stands out for its purpose: it pumps both conventional diesel fuel and biodiesel. For this, a special shaft seal made of Viton is used.

  • A pair of gears is responsible for pumping the working fluid from the tank to the nozzle, one of which is the leading one, mounted on the drive shaft, rotating clockwise. The driven wheel has an internal arrangement of teeth, moves around the central gear.

  • A coarse filter is installed in the suction part, which restrains the ingress of abrasive impurities of 150 microns in size into the working element, which can lead to equipment failure. The pressure for efficient operation of the burner is regulated by means of spool valves, one for each mode: within 8-15 atmospheres for the first stage and 12-25 atm. for the second.

  • Switching between low and high pressure is performed by a "normally open" EM bypass valve. In addition, a shut-off valve is installed on the nozzle line, interrupting the fuel supply.

  • The pump is installed in a 2-pipe system by default. When used in a single-pipe design, the return line must be shut off, for which the bypass plug is removed with an Allen key and a steel plug with a washer is installed instead.

  • The pump capacity is 46 l/h at a pressure of 11 bar and a viscosity of the pumped medium of 5 cSt. The outlet to the nozzle is on the right (marked "A").
