Design features

The task of pumping fuel from the fuel tank to the nozzle is assigned to a modern gear mechanism. It consists of a spur gear and a wheel, which are in mutual internal engagement. An external electric drive through the pump shaft makes the gear pair rotate, which leads to the suction of liquid and its subsequent expulsion.

To prevent chips, debris and dirt from getting into the moving parts along with the fuel, a mesh serviceable filter with a cell size of 530 microns is provided.

A slide valve is responsible for maintaining the pressure at the set level. The valve piston has a small cavity to reduce the pressure of hot fuel after the shaft stops rotating.
