The compact asynchronous electric motor with a squirrel-cage rotor ECK06/W-2 is manufactured by ATB, which is located in Austria. The low-speed device is used to complete gas and liquid fuel burners with a blower system. The unit acts as a power drive for the fuel pump and uses a household single-phase network with a voltage of 230 V for power supply.

Design features of the model

• The power consumption of the motor depends on the type of fuel used by the burner and can be 530 W when running on gas or 590 W when supplying liquid fuel to the injectors.

• The device can be switched on in two ways: with a power contactor or using a frequency converter (FC). Using a frequency converter drive allows saving energy resources and extends the service life of the electric motor.

• The rated current is 3.2/3.4 A and depends on the network frequency, which can be either 50 or 60 Hz. The maximum rotor speed reaches 2900 rpm, the manufacturer prohibits operating the device with exceeding the technical parameters.

• A capacitor is installed in the circuit, which helps increase the torque when starting the unit, and also protects the network parameters from sag. Its capacitance factor is 16 μF, and the maximum voltage is 400 V.
