This is one of the elements of the burner automation safety system. The ionization sensor is connected to the combustion manager. It monitors the presence/absence of flame by monitoring the ionization flow. When the number of charged electrons and ions is low (the gas does not burn), the sensor transmits a signal to the combustion machine, which shuts off the gas supply and turns off the burner. The electrode consists of a ceramic body and an ignition rod.
