Description
The Riello ignition electrode, art: 3006705, is used in the spark ignition system of fuel. It creates a high-voltage spark that ignites the prepared mixture of gas and air. Manufactured in accordance with electrical safety standards in force in Europe.
The main elements of the ignition electrode:
A current lead made of an alloy resistant to high temperatures and corrosion;
rod size: Ø1.9x7.2 mm;
fixed insulation Ø10x160 mm made of heat-resistant ceramics with significant electrical and mechanical strength;
movable ceramic insulation measuring Ø2.9x50 / 32 mm.
Ceramics provide effective protection of the conductor from external influences, prevents current leaks.
Operating principle
When the ignition transformer generates high voltage, the electrode produces a powerful spark discharge that ignites the gas-air mixture.
Advantages:
instant spark ignition when current is applied;
movable and fixed insulation made of heat-resistant ceramics;
easy installation, cleaning and replacement.
Application
The ignition electrode is built into the ignition unit of the Riello 40 FS8 gas burner.
