Description

The Riello QRB3 flame sensor, art: 3006216, is connected to the combustion controller, together with which it monitors the emission of yellow flame in the visible light spectrum during combustion of liquid fuel. It is characterized by high sensitivity, increased reliability, and a wide field of view. It is capable of registering light emanating from external sources.

More about the QRB3S model

The flame sensor is equipped with a photoresistive element, a protective metal tube. It is fixed to the burner using a metal flange and a clamp, which are purchased separately (not included in the basic kit).

Main parameters and features:

  • Photoresistive sensor for monitoring the yellow flame of liquid fuel;

  • Lighting: side (90°) and frontal;

  • Spectral sensitivity level – high (up to 600 nm);

  • Metal protective tube;

  • Rigid mounting on a flange;

  • Dust and moisture protection rating – IP 40;

  • permissible operating temperatures (ambient air): -20...+60 °C;

  • for operation with LAL/LMV/LOA/LMO control units with an intermittent cycle.

Installation

Siemens QRB3 flame sensors react to extraneous radiation (light from hot facing bricks, lighting fixture in the boiler room, etc.), which requires the use of additional protective measures for safe operation of the burner. When installing and using the sensor, condensation, icing, and moisture penetration into the housing are prohibited.

Advantages:

  • high sensitivity;

  • direct and lateral visibility;

  • metal protective tube;

  • reliable installation using a flange;

  • long service life;

  • wide range of operating temperatures.
