Description
The Weishaupt QRB1B-B036A25A IR flame sensor is a highly sensitive device for monitoring yellow flames in the visible range of the light spectrum during operation of a Weishaupt industrial liquid fuel burner. It is connected to the burner control using a 3-pin plug. Compact dimensions and a wide field of view make it easy to position and install the sensor.

More about the flame sensor
The flame sensor is equipped with a compact housing, inside which there is a sensitive element. The operating principle is based on the analysis of infrared radiation and the transmission of electrical signals about the control results to the furnace automatic control for fuel supply control.
A two-wire cable 360 mm long with PVC insulation is rigidly connected to the housing. The plug connection simplifies the connection of the flame sensor to the burner automation.
Operating temperatures
The sensor is designed for operation at ambient temperatures of -20 ... + 60 ºC and relative humidity < 95%. Condensation, water ingress on the housing and icing should be excluded.
Protection against light interference
Flame sensors for Siemens QRB1 burners are capable of detecting radiation from other objects that fall into the visibility zone (lighting lamps, glare from facing bricks, sunlight, etc.). When choosing a location for installing the sensor, it is necessary to take standard measures to protect against light interference (detailed information is reflected in the sensor installation instructions).
