UV Photocell Weishaupt QRA2, 600501

The Weishaupt QRA2 flame sensor, art. 600501, together with the automation unit, allows you to organize an effective safety system for an industrial furnace installation. Reacts to the ultraviolet radiation of a yellow, blue flame during burner operation. Equipped with a photocell of normal sensitivity. Connects to the furnace automatic control and transmits signals about flame detection to control the supply of gas or liquid fuel.

More about the QRA2 model

The QRA2 ultraviolet flame sensors are equipped with a metallized plastic housing that prevents the formation of static electricity created by the air flow during fan operation. It is attached directly to the burner. This model is supplied without a flange and clamp (purchased separately). The level of dust and moisture protection of electrical components complies with the IP 40 standard.

The flame sensor includes a photocell sensitive to the UV radiation of a yellow and blue flame. The device does not detect the spectrum of light from hot firebricks, solar radiation, or boiler room lighting, so it does not require additional safety measures.
