Description
The Dungs GGW 50 A4 pressure switch, article 246176, is a compact, adjustable device for monitoring the pressure in combustion units from most popular manufacturers. It is used as part of gas automation in systems with a maximum pressure of up to 500 mbar. The sensor is characterized by compact dimensions, simple connection, and an uninterruptible switching system.
Design and features
The relay has a small housing with a cast aluminum base and a transparent plastic cover. The reliable design can be used at ambient and working temperatures from -15°C to +70°C.
The switch is made of polycarbonate, the membrane is made of butadiene-nitrile rubber, the switching contact is gold-plated silver, which contributes to improved signal conductivity and switching stability. Electrical elements are hermetically sealed against dust and moisture, IP 54 standard.
When the pressure changes relative to the set value, the switching mechanism closes the contact and sends a signal to the control unit. The relay is adjusted in the range from 2.5 to 50 mbar by scrolling the wheel with digital markings. The response range is 1 mbar
The relay is mounted in the system in a vertical (recommended) or any other orientation. In case of non-standard placement, it should be taken into account that the response point will shift relative to the specified values within ±15%.
