Description

The Dungs GW 150 A5/1 pressure switch is manufactured in accordance with the EN 1854 standard. It ensures control of excess pressure of gaseous media for efficient and safe operation of industrial installations. The device is adjusted by rotating the adjustment wheel with digital markings.

Application of the sensor-relay

The Dungs GW 150 relay is used to equip furnace equipment, ventilation systems, air conditioning. It is suitable for working with air, flammable gas of the 1-3 family and other neutral gaseous media. It is used to control pressure in automatic gas/air supply control systems, safety devices. The switching device responds to excess pressure.

The sensor-relay is assembled in a housing with a cast aluminum base and a cover made of gas-tight polyamide. The pressure sensitive element is an elastic NBR rubber diaphragm that is not destroyed by flammable gases. The housing has a 9 mm diameter nozzle for pressure monitoring. The switching parameters are easily adjusted by turning the wheel on the top of the device. The silver contacts are reliably protected against dust/moisture (IP 54 class). A plug connection is used for connection.

Sensor installation

The relay is installed in a vertical, horizontal or intermediate position. Vertical placement is preferable, in which the response pressure will correspond to the setting scale. In other positions, the switching point shifts to one side or the other, depending on the installation. A sealing ring is used for fastening to the Dungs fittings. The relay is suitable for systems with a gas/air pressure of 0.5 bar (maximum). Connection is carried out using a Rp ¼" thread.

Operating conditions

Dungs GW pressure sensors operate stably at external temperatures of -15...+70 °C. Exposure to moisture and sunlight is not allowed.
