Description
The Dungs GW 50 A5/1 pressure switch, art: 241246, is designed to equip automation devices for industrial heating systems and ventilation units. It was released to replace outdated series with square and round housings. It has compact dimensions and is equipped with a DIN connector. It is adjusted in the range of 5-50 mbar by rotating the wheel with markings. It corresponds to class S according to EN 1854.

The sensor is assembled in a housing, the base of which is die-cast from an aluminum alloy, and the cover is made of gas-tight polyamide. The sensitive element that responds to pressure changes is a membrane made of NBR rubber, resistant to hydrocarbon composition and wear. The housing has a 9 mm diameter nipple to which a pressure measuring device is connected. To adjust the parameters, a disk with an easily readable marking scale is fixed on top. Silver contacts are protected from external influences according to the IP 54 standard. A plug connection is used for connection.
Sensor installation
The device can be fixed on a horizontal, vertical, or diagonal surface. Vertical installation is recommended. In this case, the pressure at which the sensor switches corresponds to the scale on the adjustment disk. When placing the relay in other positions, it will operate at a pressure higher or lower than the selected value. Installation on Dungs fittings is carried out using a sealing ring. The relay is suitable for systems with a working medium pressure of up to 0.5 bar.
Operating conditions
Dungs GW pressure sensors operate stably at external temperatures of -15...+70 °C. They must not be exposed to moisture or sunlight.
