The sensor-relay is equipped with a damping nozzle. It is assembled in a compact housing, the base of which is cast from aluminum. The cover is made of impact-resistant, gas-tight polyamide. The sensitive membrane is made of elastic NBR rubber, does not collapse upon contact with flammable gases. The housing has a 9 mm diameter nipple for connecting a pressure gauge. The pressure parameters are adjusted by rotating the dial with a digital scale, located at the top of the device. The silver contacts are protected against dust / moisture according to the IP 54 standard. The connection is made using a plug.

Installation of the Dungs GW 500 pressure switch

The sensor is fixed to the surface in a horizontal, vertical or intermediate position. When installed vertically, the response pressure will correspond to the setting scale. In other positions, the microswitch will respond at a pressure higher or lower than the set value. A flange connection with an O-ring is used for fixing. An O-ring seal is included in the package. The switch is suitable for systems with a medium pressure of no more than 0.5 bar.

Installation of the sensor and operating conditions

The switch is placed in a vertical (preferred) or other positions. When installed horizontally or diagonally, the switching point will shift relative to the set value. A sealing ring is provided for mounting on Dungs fittings. Reliable and quick connection is carried out on the Rp ¼" thread.

Dungs GW pressure sensors can be used in a wide range of ambient temperatures: -15 ... +70 °C. The housing must not be exposed to moisture and sunlight.
