Description
The Dungs GW 500 A5 gas pressure relay is a device used in gas equipment automation systems. It is used to monitor excess gas pressure and vacuum pressure. The sensor operates by switching the circuit at specified response points. The device is manufactured according to the EU standard and has a certificate of conformity according to EN 1854. The relay is designed to operate in combustion units with a maximum pressure of 600 mbar.
Features
The relay has a compact die-cast aluminum housing. The outer shell reliably protects the wiring from mechanical impacts, dust and moisture. Protection class - IP 54. The switch is made of polyamide, the membrane is made of NBC. The relay operates stably at a working environment and ambient air temperature from -15°C to +70°C.
The sensor operates by closing the contact and sending a signal to the gas burner control device when the pressure deviates from the specified parameters. The response point is determined manually, in the range from 100 to 500 mbar. An adjustment wheel and digital marking are provided for adjustment. The relay is connected via a sealing ring to the Dungs fittings. A measuring hole ø 9 mm with a screw plug is provided.
The standard mounting position of the relay is vertical. If placed differently, the switching point will change - up or down from the set one. All installation details can be studied in the attached specification to the device (see file).
The Dungs GW 500 A5 gas pressure relay, article 272349, is used to complete burners from most manufacturers.
