The Dungs UB 150 A4 pressure relay, article 138630, is an indispensable element of the gas installation safety system. It is used to control the maximum pressure and vacuum pressure. How the relay works
Dungs UB 150 A4 reacts to excess pressure. It turns on as soon as the set pressure value is exceeded - the contact closes and a signal is sent to the control unit. In the locked state, the indicator on the sensor body lights up, signaling that the pressure has reached a critical level. Pressing the button in the center of the adjustment disk unlocks the relay.
Design and features
The response parameters are adjusted without using a pressure gauge, by turning the wheel. A scale with numbers is provided for precise adjustment of the switching point.
The relay is made of highly reliable materials. The cast housing is aluminum, the membrane is made of NBC, the switch is made of polyamide, the contacts are made of silver. Electrics and vulnerable parts are protected by a dust- and moisture-proof housing (class IP54 according to IEC 529).
The connection to the power source is made through a PG cable entry. The design provides a measuring nipple.
The relay is mounted on threaded holes (internal thread G 1/4"). The mounting orientation is standard (recommended). If the installation position deviates, the sensor-relay is switched on at a higher/lower pressure in relation to the set values.
