Pressure switch Dungs UB 50 A4

The Dungs UB 50 A4 pressure switch, article 210537, is used as a maximum pressure limiter in combustion units, where any excess pressure is critical. The device is easy to configure, has a reliable design and a compact housing. Suitable for equipping burners of most brands. Comply with EN 1854.

How the relay works

The Dungs UB switch reacts to excess pressure. It turns on when the actual pressure exceeds the permissible limit, a corresponding signal is transmitted to the control unit. At the same time, the relay is blocked. A working signal lamp notifies about the blocking. The button located in the center of the adjustment disk is designed to unlock the sensor-relay. No additional energy is required for the device to operate.

Device and installation features

A special disk and a scale with digital markings are used to adjust the response pressure. A pressure gauge is not required.

The design has compact dimensions and reliable performance. The cast housing is made of aluminum, the membrane is made of NBC, the switch is made of polyamide. The contact material is silver.

The electrical contacts are protected from moisture and dust - class IP54 according to IEC 529. Connection to the network is via a PG cable entry. A measuring nipple is provided.

Connection to the system is carried out using a threaded connection (internal thread Rp 1/4"). In the standard position, the relay operates in accordance with the settings. When changing the installation orientation (horizontal, inverted or intermediate position), the relay is activated at a higher/lower pressure relative to the permissible limit.
