Description
The Dungs UB 500 A2 pressure switch, article 215246, is an adjustable device for limiting excess pressure in the system. It is used in combustion units where any change in gas pressure is critical. The compact, reliable device is easy to configure and does not require special maintenance. Complies with the European standard EN 1854. It stands out in the line with a wide range of response pressure.

Operating principle of the sensor-relay
The maximum pressure limiting relay responds to excess gas pressure in the system. When the set pressure limit is exceeded, the contact in the electrical network is switched on, switched off, and a signal is sent to the control unit. At the same time, the indicator turns on and the sensor is blocked.
To unlock the relay, press the button in the center of the adjustment disk. No additional energy is needed to operate the switch.
Design and features of the relay
A wheel and a digital scale are provided for setting the device. A pressure gauge is not used.
The housing and the working membrane are made of durable materials - aluminum and NBC (respectively). The contact material is silver. The electrical insulation of vulnerable elements complies with the IP54 electrical protection standard according to IEC 529. The relay is connected to the network via a PG cable entry.
Due to the design features, the relay can only be installed on Dungs fittings. In this case, a sealing ring is used.
It is recommended to select the standard position for installation. When installed in a horizontal, inverted or intermediate position, the relay will operate at a higher/lower pressure compared to the specified parameters.
