Pressure relay Dungs UB 500 A4 article 210970 is a compact maximum pressure limiter in the gas pipeline system. It is used in combustion units, where any excess pressure entails increased risks. How the relay works

Dungs UB 500 A4 reacts to excess gas pressure. When the permissible pressure limit is exceeded, the contact closes, the signal is transmitted to the control unit. At the same time, the relay is blocked and the indicator lights up, signaling the operation. Unblocking is done manually by pressing the button.

Design and features

Setting the switching point does not require the use of a pressure gauge, it is done by turning the adjustment disk. A digital scale is provided for precise setting of parameters.

The long service life of the relay is determined by the choice of wear-resistant materials: aluminum (housing), NBC (membrane). The contacts are made of silver. Electrical parts are protected from dust and splashes due to the impermeability of the outer shell (class IP54 according to IEC 529).

Connection to the network is carried out via a PG cable entry. A measuring nipple is mounted on the relay housing.

The relay is installed using threaded holes (internal thread G 1/4"). Installation - in the standard position (recommended). When changing the orientation, the sensor-relay is triggered at a higher/lower pressure compared to the set level.
