Pressure switch Riello GW 50 A4

The Riello GW 50 A4 pressure switch, art: 3005412, is used in industrial equipment with gas/air pressure up to 500 mbar. The sensor is compact, easily fixed on the thread, and features stable, precise response. A dial with a scale is located on top of the housing for adjustment. The relay is used for automatic control of excess pressure.

Design and features

The GW...A4 relay is made of materials with low gas permeability. The housing base is cast from aluminum alloy, the switch and casing are made of polycarbonate, the sensitive membrane that responds to pressure changes is made of NBR rubber. Electrical contacts are protected from dust and splashes of water according to the IP 54 standard. Connection is made using an internal ¼ inch thread.

The switching point is adjusted by rotating the wheel with divisions. The sensor has an adjustable hysteresis. Stably switches contacts at external temperatures from -15 to +70 °C. Electrical connection is via an M20 cable entry. The relay must be protected from moisture and sunlight at the place where it is to be used.

The pressure switch sensor can be installed in any position. When placed vertically, the switch is triggered at a pressure corresponding to the setting scale. When placed horizontally, upside down, or in an intermediate position, the relay will respond to lower or higher pressure.
