Pressure switch Weishaupt GW 50 A5/1

The Weishaupt GW 50 A5/1 pressure switch, art: 691378, is used in industrial burner automation devices and ventilation equipment. It was produced to replace the old square and round series, has more compact dimensions, DIN connector. It is adjusted in the range of 5-50 mbar using an adjustment disk with a scale.

Design and features

The relay housing is made of die-cast aluminum alloy (base) and gas-tight polyamide (upper part). The membrane, sensitive to pressure changes, is made of hydrocarbon-resistant NBR rubber. A ø 9 mm nipple for pressure measurements is built into the housing. At the top there is a setting disk with a scale for selecting the response parameters.

The contacts are made of silver, protected from contact, dust and moisture according to the IP54 standard. Electrical connection is via a DIN plug.

Installation and operating conditions

The pressure switch can be mounted on a horizontal, vertical, diagonal surface. Vertical installation is recommended. In this position, the response point corresponds to the setting scale. When deviating from the vertical, the switching point shifts.

The sensor-relay is designed for operation at ambient temperatures of -15 ... +70 °C. It is prohibited to expose the housing to moisture and exposure to solar radiation.
