Design Features

  • The fuel is supplied to the nozzles by rotating a pair of gears clockwise, which are in engagement with each other. The speed of their movement is determined by the frequency of revolutions of the shaft, which is connected to the rotor of the electric motor. Through the suction line, the fuel enters the working cavity of the mechanism and is pushed out through the high-pressure tube to the nozzle. To maintain the required pressure in the range from 7 to 14 bar, the pump is equipped with a slide valve with a piston, a spring and an adjusting screw. The valve installed in the upper part of the EM is needed to switch from idle to working mode.
