Description
The Suntec AS 47 B K 1551 6P 0500 fuel pump from the French concern will be useful for owners of hybrid burners capable of burning diesel fuel and kerosene. The model belongs to the AS series - a line of reliable single-stage pumps with a shut-off electromagnetic valve. The outlet to the nozzle is located on the right side of the body, and the rotation of the gear mechanism occurs clockwise.

Design features
The task of pumping fuel from the tank to the nozzle line is assigned to the gear mechanism. It consists of a pair of mutually rotating parts: a gear and a toothed wheel. They are set in motion by a shaft connected to an external electric drive. The resulting vacuum below atmospheric pressure causes diesel fuel to move from the fuel tank to the teeth, and then to the outlet of the injectors.
A removable mesh filter is responsible for preliminary cleaning of the fuel from debris and sand. Even the smallest particles that can clog the injector nozzle and cause premature wear will not pass through its fine 150 µm mesh.
The pressure in the discharge line is adjusted within the range from 0.7 to 1.4 MPa by tightening the valve screw, which is located outside the housing.
Main advantages:
Acceptable nominal capacity when pumping diesel fuel (39 l/h) and kerosene (27 l/h);
pumps fuel with a viscosity of 1 mm²/s (cSt);
built-in electromagnetic bypass solenoid;
remote control with interval switching is possible;
the dense filter mesh does not allow the smallest suspended particles to pass through;
small weight (1.1 kg) and dimensions of the device;
the sleeve installation method with a landing diameter of 32 mm is supported by many manufacturers of diesel burners.
Suntec AS 47 B K 1551 6P 0500 liquid fuel pumps will find their application in industrial and domestic burners with a capacity of up to 1000 kW, operating on diesel fuel and kerosene. The pressure is adjusted quickly and conveniently when pumping fuel, observing the readings of the pressure gauge on the injector line. The operation of the EM valve is controlled by the burner controller, from which a signal is received to switch between idle and operating modes.
