Design features

  • The actuator of the pump consists of a pair of toothed gears - leading and driven. They rotate due to the kinetic energy removed from the shaft of the external electric drive. The rapid rotation of the gears and the tightness of the grinding of the parts create a vacuum in the suction line, which leads to the movement of fuel from the tank to the working area. Before this, it passes through a dense mesh filter with a 150 micron cell, which does not allow debris, sand and rust to enter the device.

  • Next, the diesel fuel is pushed under high pressure to the spool valve and the outlet to the injector, located on the left side of the housing. The spool acts as a fuel supply pressure regulator. The bypass electromagnetic valve is used to switch the entire system from idle to working mode.

Important! For better preparation of the working fluid, the pump manufacturer Suntec recommends installing a fine filter. This will protect the fuel injectors from clogging and significantly extend their service life.
