Description

The gear-type fuel pump is designed to pump diesel fuel to the nozzles of the heating burner. Model AT2 45 D 9538 6P 0700 with a capacity of up to 46 l/h is installed on low-power units (up to 1000 kW) and belongs to a series of dual-mode pumps with control electromagnetic valves. The letter "D" indicates the right-hand location of the feed outlet and counterclockwise rotation of the shaft.

Design Features

The "heart of the pump" is a simple and at the same time reliable mechanism consisting of two gear wheels meshed with each other. The internal gear is rigidly mounted on the shaft and rotates the external one, thereby creating negative pressure in the suction line. Fuel flows from the tank to the mechanism, which pushes it further to the low and high pressure spool valves. It is pre-cleaned with a mesh cylindrical filter from small debris and rust that has come from the tank.

Each valve is a spring-loaded piston that opens the channel when the set pressure is exceeded. They are adjusted by tightening the screw outside the housing. The inclusion of the low-pressure valve in the system is set by the position of the bypass electromagnetic valve.
