Description
The Suntec J 6 PAC 1000 8P burner pump is equipped with a pressure regulating valve with a locking function. It is designed for efficient pumping of liquid fuel to the nozzle when operating diesel, fuel oil, kerosene burners of most European brands (Oilon, Elco, Weishaupt, etc.). The design is designed for intensive use, high fuel temperatures, reliable, long-term service.
The Suntec J pump is used:
in systems with one or two pipes;
for pumping medium-viscosity fuel;
in installations with an external electromagnetic valve.
Performance and pressure setting
The pump is capable of pumping fuel under high pressure (10-21 bar). It is set to 12 bar at the factory. The flow rate depends on the specified pressure and viscosity parameters of the medium. It is 226 l/h at a pressure of 20 bar and a viscosity of 5 cSt.
Features and benefits:
J series with pressure regulating valve with flow shut-off function;
in standard assembly – for operation on two pipes (with a plug in the bypass line);
fuel temperature inside the pump: 0...+90 °C;
mesh filter with an increased cleaning area of 97 cm², 170 µm holes;
flange mounting method, diameter 54 mm;
tapered thread ¼ inch NPTF for the suction line and return drain;
pressure in the suction/return fuel line - up to 1.5 bar;
ports for connecting measuring devices;
installation in any orientation that does not allow axle load;
automatic air bleeding through the return line hole in 2-pipe systems.
Operation of the Suntec J 6 PAC 1000 8P burner pump
The gears suck fuel from the tank, pass it through the filter and feed it to the control valve, then the fuel is supplied to the nozzle line under a given pressure. A mesh filter is installed at the pump inlet, due to which the working mechanism does not get clogged and is not subject to excessive friction by abrasive particles. Regular maintenance of the mesh insert is required for stable operation of the pump. Fuel that does not reach the nozzle goes to the return line or to the suction, depending on the system parameters (two or one pipe).
