Description
The Dungs GW 150 A6 pressure switch is one of the elements of gas automation for monitoring excess pressure/vacuum pressure in systems with pressures up to 500 mbar. Adjustable in the range from 5 to 150 mbar. The cast housing reliably protects vulnerable components from external influences. The device is manufactured according to the European standard EN 1854, class "S".
Operating principle and design
The gas pressure switch operates on a simple switch principle. At the point of operation, the contact closes and a signal is sent to the burner automation.
The response limits are adjusted manually by rotating the disk with a marking scale. The device setting range: from 5 to 150 mbar, the response range is 10 mbar. The sensor is equipped with a nipple for measuring pressure.
The relay housing is made of cast aluminum, protects electrical contacts from dust and moisture. Electrical protection class – IP 54. Switch material – polyamide, membrane – butadiene-nitrile rubber.
A 3-phase insulated electrical connector for a plug socket is provided, without grounding. Installation in the pipeline is carried out using an Rp 1/4 thread. The sensor operates smoothly in a wide temperature range, from -15°C to +70°C.
Advantages:
shock-resistant metal housing;
complete with a measuring nipple;
reliable protection against dust and moisture according to the IP 54 standard;
wide range of operating temperatures;
quick installation in the gas system.
Installation features
The Dungs GW 150 A6 gas pressure switch, article 272616, is built into the gas pipeline in any position. Recommended – vertical. In other orientations - diagonal, horizontal, inverted - the triggering will occur at higher/lower pressure compared to the set value. Possible deviation of the set value ≤ ±15%.
