Description
The Dungs GW 500 A6 gas pressure switch, article number: 272618, is designed to equip furnace systems for switching on, off or switching the electrical circuit when the actual pressure reaches a specified value (the trip point). The device is certified by the European Community according to the standards developed for furnace equipment. It is used to monitor excess pressure in the discharge line.
Features
A regulator (in the form of a wheel) and a marking scale are used to adjust the trip point in the range from 100 to 500 mbar.
The relay housing is made of cast aluminum, has compact dimensions and reliable performance. The switch is made of polyamide, the membrane is made of NBC, the switching contacts are made of Ag
A measuring nipple is provided on the housing for precise adjustment of the switching parameters.
The operating principle is tripping when the pressure reaches a specified value. The device is mounted on a branch pipe with an external thread Rp ¼.
The relay operates stably at ambient temperatures from -15°C to +70°C in systems with pressures up to 500 mbar.
Installation
The Dungs GW 500 A6 gas pressure relay is installed in the system in various mounting positions. Recommended - vertical. When using a different orientation, it is important to take into account a deviation of ± 15% of the switching point from the specified level. You can find out more about all the installation features in the model specification.
