Liquid fuel pump for diesel burners from the French manufacturer Suntec AS 47 D 1596 6P 0700 is a representative of the AS series. It includes single-stage units with a shut-off electromagnetic valve and a slide valve. The device has a right-hand outlet for delivery, and the mechanism shaft rotates counterclockwise (type D). Design features

  • The main unit of the unit is a mechanism consisting of a gear pressed onto a shaft and a wheel with an internal arrangement of teeth. The gear pair receives torque from an external drive — an electric motor. The operating principle consists of sucking fuel from a tank and moving it to the injector pressure line through a control valve.

  • The pressure of diesel fuel supplied to the injector is set within the range from 7 to 14 bar using a slide valve with a spring-loaded piston and an adjusting screw. The function of switching the supply mode is assigned to the electromagnetic solenoid of the bypass. In the normal position, it opens the flow of diesel fuel to drain (idle). When switched on, it disconnects the bypass and discharge lines (working stroke).

  • Preliminary cleaning of fuel from mechanical suspensions larger than 150 microns is assigned to a dismountable mesh filter. It requires regular cleaning with a soft brush and rinsing in kerosene.
