The German company Weishaupt offers a compact asynchronous electric motor ECK05/W-2 with a 28 cm power cable included. The unit is capable of ensuring uninterrupted operation of liquid fuel and gas burners that are equipped with a blower system. The device is conveniently connected to a single-phase AC network and is used as a power drive for the fuel pump. The power it consumes depends on the type of fuel: for gas it is 380 W, and for liquid fuel - 420 W.

Main technical characteristics:

• An electric motor with a squirrel-cage rotor can operate from a regular household network with a voltage of 220 V. Starting is possible using a frequency converter or a power contactor.

• The nominal current directly depends on the network frequency, which can be 50 or 60 Hz — 2.3 A or 2.5 A, respectively. The maximum number of revolutions of the drive shaft is 2890 rpm.

• The electrical circuit includes a starting capacitor, the capacitance coefficient of which is 12 µȹ, and the value of the maximum operating voltage parameter does not exceed 400 V. The capacitor is used to increase the torque when the engine is turned on and does not allow the parameters of the electrical network to sag.
